East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue

pit bull rescueThe East Tennessee Pit Bull rescue is located in Harriman, Tennessee. The rescue works to educate the public about the true nature of the Pit Bull in attempts to restore the breed’s good reputation. In doing so, the rescue provides a safe place for homeless and abandoned Pit Bulls until a loving home is found.

The average Pit Bull is someone’s best friend, and the East Tennessee Pit Bull Rescue hopes to show the media and the public dogs in this role. The goal is to provide information and resources to aid public fears and opinions by showing a positive storyline.

The East TN Pit Bull Rescue places dogs in homes where they will be inside companion animals. No dogs should live outside, regardless of being enclosed in a large fenced-in yard or a 6-foot chain.

If you live in the East Tennessee area and have room for a new dog in your home, please check out the dogs for adoption and the rescue’s adoption policies.

If you can’t bring in a new dog into your home, but you want to help, donate to the rescue. All donations go to the medical care, food, housing and basic care for the dogs.
