The dog rescue envisions a world where dogs are not criticized by their breed, but seen as the loving, loyal and competent family pets that they are.
In attempts to find every dog a loving home, Orlando Bully Rescue advocates pet overpopulation with controlled breeding and spay/neuter.
Every animal adopted through Orlando Bully Rescue is spayed or neutered, microchipped and vaccinated before being adopted or going into a foster home.
The Orlando Bully Rescue provides outreach services within the community. They believe in educating the children and adults in humane treatment of animals. Dogs that suffered neglect or abuse are provided rehabilitation and special treatment before being put up for adoption, and after determining a dog’s temperament and evaluating other compatibility factors, the pit bull rescue begins to search for the perfect home.
Each and every dog the adopt-a-bull program learns basic obedience, socialization skills, is spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and receives the medical treatment necessary. The rescue encourages pit bull dog owners to get their dogs involved in obedience, agility, tracking, weight-pulling and therapy work.
