The rescue is solely run on the hard work of volunteers and foster homes. All dogs remain in foster homes until found a permanent home.
South of the Bully is run off public donations to cover all necessary veterinary care, which includes vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries, so if you are able to donate any funds to help care for dogs waiting their forever homes, please make donations through the PayPal link on the dog rescue’s website.
The mission of South of the Bully rescue is to promote ethical rescue practices, responsible ownership, financial transparency and to act as an intermediary to individuals or groups looking for support for pit bulls. And, the vision of the pit bull rescue is to strengthen and preserve the public image of pit bull type dogs through education and awareness.

If you want to be a foster home for a pit bull, please contact the rescue. Foster homes are always needed. The more foster homes that are available, the more pit bulls that can be rescued and put into loving homes.
